    Trap, rat. Homemade. Wooden base 7 1/2 x 4 1/2". Wooden piece holds hook for bait. Spring loaded wire circle is tripped and hits rat, smashing against nails in base. Donated by Cary Lattin, T. of Gaines.

    Trap, mouse. Shaped like a house. Wooden box 5 1/4 x 4 7/8 x 2 5/8" H. Mouse enters a chute, chute tips and closes door. Mouse crawls through hole into body of trap. Since his weight is off the chute, the door opens for the next mouse. Printed: "LOVELL MFG. CO, Erie, Pa. , U.S. THE MASCOTTE/Patented July 28, 1876./Sept. 25, 1877.     Tread, animal-power, dog. A merry-go-round type of machine powered by a dog, that runs a churn. Merry-go-round of wood, suspended by rods from a framework of wood 4' 7 12" wide. Donated by Hanford Phillips, Town of Murray.

    Whipple tree. Used to attach two horses to an implement. Wood 33" long 2 1/2 x 2 1/4". Each end has a heavy wrought iron strap that holds a wrought iron hook. Center has a wrought iron saddle, holding a heavy ring.
